Problem Spotting vs Problem Solving

We all face problems. And sometimes our problems hold us back. Some are good in spotting problems while some are good in solving it.

Problem spotting is easy. I love problem spotting. It does not require any critical thinking only critical pointing.

But what more women need now are men who can solve the problem.

John Maxwell said, ” When people come to me with a problem, I kindly ask them to give me 3 suggestions for solving it. And one of the solutions has to involve them. I have found this to be very effective way to cut down on problem spotting and increase problem solving.”

Ideas of this blog came from John Maxwell’s article on Success Magazine, May 2009, pp22-23
