Honoring my Wife
Today is Thammie’s birthday. It has been three weeks since our baby Isaiah was born. That means Thammie hasn’t been sleeping right for the past three weeks. It is amazing how mothers are wired. They are wired to endure tough times.
Tough times of breastfeeding, burping, and putting baby back to sleep while getting her sleep ( all in a 2 1/2 to 3 hour window).
Tough times of labor and giving birth to the baby ( could last for a day), with battle scars to show after.
Tough times of juggling home management and children management without the management degree.
It is surprising how many mothers and wives are under appreciated.
I would never trade my job to be a mother. I don’t think I can handle the pressure and the stress.
When God said I will make a helper suitable for you He knew what we are not capable to do as men that we actually need help in almost anything.
To my wife, my best friend and the mother of my kids… Thammie I love and honor you. Thank you for loving a whack like me. Thank you for everything. I love you very very much.
My prayer is that you continue to live in God’s grace. You are a living example of God’s goodness and grace. Your life will always be an inspiration for me.
