What do you do when you are in Cagayan de Oro? Most would say go water rafting, visit Dahilayan and experience the new Ayala Mall Centrio. But for our family and my daughters – they have one request – visit Chingkee Tea.
For those outside CDO, this might be the first time you are hearing CHINGKEE TEA but if you are from CDO – you would probably know this tea place because it is now the #1 tea place in Cagayan de Oro. Now going strong on its 2nd year, Chingkee Tea has expanded in a year’s time and throngs of CHINKGKEE TEA fans drop by every minute in this WONDERLAND theme Milk Tea Place.
Chingkee Tea is owned by a very young woman entrepreneur – Chingkee Te, who is now a fashion and business icon in Cagayan de Oro. She has been featured in different magazines in her city because of her business ingenuity. Incidentally she is also my sister-in-law.

The Angel is in the Details
Could this be the table where Alice and the Madhatter met? You can leave personal messages, prayer and inspiration and hang them on the tree.
Chingkee became successful at her art because she was clear about her dreams and followed it. It takes a genius to be creative and successful in business. Since Chingkee Tea started, a handful of other milk tea places followed but none have experienced the success that Chingkee Tea had attained in a short span of two years. The secret to her success: She POURED HERSELF into HER PRODUCT.
So the next time you visit Cagayan de Oro, a must visit is CHINGKEE TEA. Most likely you will bump into her since she is often there entertaining her guests and giving them an experience you won’t ever forget.
PS: The must order in Chingkee Tea is their Wintermelon. So far the best Wintermelon I’ve tasted in my entire life.
CHINGKEE TEA is located at Marfori Compound, Pabayo- Gaerlan Street, Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.
