Larry and I went around the city and visited our evacuation center at San Juan. People are starting to trickle in with their kids because around 6 barangays were affected by the flood. We are expecting more kids to come tonight in San Juan Gym as the rain continues to pour.
Six Barangays Affected by the Flood. Really glad that we have an organized system in San Juan City. No records of family living in the barangay, no relief goods.
People lining up to receive some hot meals. Most haven’t eaten since yesterday.
A lot of elderly and kids are occupying the San Juan Gymnasium already. Expecting more to arrive.
I couldn’t take picture of the babies that I saw, nakakaiyak lang din.
Let’s continue praying for all the cities affected by Typhoon Maring.
For everyone interested to help San Juan, here is how:
1st Option: Go straight to San Juan City Hall ( the new one) and proceed to the basement parking and look for the Office of Social Welfare and Development. Ask for Jessica Quitor and drop of your relief goods. Just mention Victory Greenhills so they could acknowledge the donations you made.
2nd option: Our church office will be open tomorrow to receive donations and goods. Victory Greenhills is located at the 4th floor of VMALL. We will be open from 10am to 6pm.
3rd option: If you are from West Crame, Right Start Foundation is receiving donations also from 10am to 6pm.
Let’s unite and help our fellow kababayans in this time of need.
