THE GOD FACTOR
15 So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty-two days. 16 And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.
Does your work reflect God’s glory. Nehemiah did the impossible. He finished the wall that has been destroyed for years in 52 days. To do so in less than two months requires hard work, perseverance, focus and God. Yes, God!
There must always be a God-factor in what we do. You cannot say it was all ME. There is no such thing as a self made man. The Scripture reminds us time and time again that it is God who gives us the ability to produce wealth, to have the skill set to do His work. It is amazing how we sometimes take credit for the things God ordained.
Nehemiah finished the wall. He worked hard and put in the effort but even his enemies knew that there was a GOD FACTOR in his work. Starting today, be aware that you need God for people to see God in your work.
