23 Nevertheless, I am continually with you;
you hold my right hand.
24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength[a] of my heart and my portion forever.
Just when you think you are strong, in the season of prayer and fasting, God reminds us of our need for Him. We can’t live life without Him.
We can’t be great husbands apart from Christ.
We can’t lead as Christ leads without His power and grace.
We can’t provide unless we remember it is He who gives us the ability to produce wealth.
Thank you Jesus for holding my hand and guiding me. I am a man in desperate need of a Savior. My best may fail me but you are my strength and you are my portion.
