Change the Way You Think

Romans 12:1-2 New Living Translation

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

The first way to start changing the way men act is to change the way they think. This principle applies to all things in life. When I have the proper and correct understanding of something, the implications would also be evident and different from those who believe in another way.

So let’s go to manhood.

Our culture today has become clueless about manhood. With the lack of proper modeling of manhood – we have seen our society deteriorate.

Sex trafficking is at an all-time high.

Broken families are the new norm.

Men who continue to consume rather than produce frustrates a lot of women.

All this continue to increase because people have come to believe that men are naturally wired and born that way, and there is nothing we can do to change it.

That is why we have to address the minds and break wrong mindsets about manhood. Through our Act Like a Man Summits – we have seen many transformed men who have taken up leadership roles and accepted their responsibilities. The result is happy women, fruitful men, stable families.

So we want to bring back the control of our lives to God. As God directs us, we go to a path of manhood that he has established. You will be surprised to see a lot of biblical principles and lessons on manhood in Scripture that has shaped the lives of millions of men worldwide.

Hopefully, as you go and journey with the bloggers of act like a man, your mindset would start to shift towards a positive biblical view of manhood.
